I mentioned in the last post that Roustem and I have taken a few days off to recover from the hard work we’ve been pouring into 1Passwd 2.0.
You may have thought I was a little odd for writing some security articles during my time off, but what do you think Roustem has been up to?

That’s right, during Roustem’s “down time” he decided that he would whip together one of the features we decided we didn’t have time to write — OmniWeb Support! You have to love the guy’s spirit :)
So the next release of 1Passwd is going to be HUGE. We have these big ticket items being added:
- Secure Notes (ability to store generic, non-webpage related information)
- Bookmarks (ability to access and Go & Fill all your saved forms from the browser)
- Full OmniWeb support
We will be opening beta testing soon; be sure to set your Update preferences to Prerelease if you want to participate. We still hope to meet the early November delivery date for the official release.
This release is going to be so big we decided that we would change the release number to 2.0. 1Passwd has matured a lot over the last 6 months and we feel it deserved the promotion.
