With 250GB disk on my iMac I rarely complain about the disk space. However I know some poor Mac users running out of space with a measly 80GB on their laptops.

I’ve been using Firefox 2.0 for a few weeks now and have seen some good things and some not-so-good things. With the recent RC 3 release we are likely very close to the final release the public will see.
In honour of Stephen Colbert, I thought I’d ‘Tip My Hat’ to the Firefox engineers, but sadly I need to ‘Wag My Finger’ too.

It was so nice writing a blog comment today and seeing that I fat-fingered the word “submit”. Up until recently, I have been copying all my comments into TextMate just to see if everything was spelt correctly.

I toyed around with Songbird today; it is an extended version of Firefox that adds the ability to play songs, listen to the radio, watch videos, etc, while still being a full-featured web browser. I am amazed at how well they were able to skin Songbird to look nothing at all like a standard OS X app. They are obviously much better at Cocoa than I am; I hope to get to their level someday.

We just released a new version of 1Passwd. While no major new features were added, this update contains several important improvements and bug fixes. The detailed changelog is below.
The new AutoUpdate feature will make upgrading very easy for everyone. If you allowed 1Passwd to automatically check for new releases, you will automatically be asked if you would like to install the new version. For those with AutoUpdate turned off, you will need to manually select “Check For Updates…”.
