Changing Keyboard Shortcuts in 1Passwd

Current version of 1Passwd does not provide a preference to customize the keyboard shortcuts. However, Mac OS X is flexible enough to allow you to do that yourself. The following will work with 1Passwd version 2.3 in Safari, Camino, and OmniWeb (unfortunately, not in Firefox and Flock).

1. Open Keyboard & Mouse in System Preferences and select “Keyboard Shortcuts” tab.

2. Click “+” button to add new item:

3. Add new shortcut for “Restore 1Passwd Form” menu item. It is important to enter the text exactly as it is printed here: “Restore 1Passwd Form”, since OS X is using the menu item title to change the keyboard shortcut. For example:

4. Restart the web browser and try the new keyboard shortcut!

To change keyboard shortcuts for “Use Identity”, enter “1st Identity”, “2nd Identity”, and “3rd Identity” text - for the shortcut to use first identity, second and third identity respectively.
