A new version of AllBookmarks was released today. New features in this release include support for the popular OmniWeb browser and more control over how bookmarks are displayed. By popular demand you can now hide certain browsers from the bookmark list as well as the ability to coalesce all bookmarks into one menu.
What is AllBookmarks?
If you switch browsers as often as I do then you will know what a pain it is to go into the old browser to find your bookmarks. In theory you can import them, but often you accidently bookmark some sites in the "wrong" browser and over time your bookmarks become a real mess.

43 Folders had a post about Nocturne, a program that inverts your display colours. You can test this yourself before downloading by pressing CMD-option-ctrl-8, but Nocturne adds some additional preferences.
I've started using Nocturne to reduce my Terminal Illness. Once my eyes start to hurt I invert the screen to reduce my eye strain. I've found the white-on-black colour scheme perfect for reading mail, which I spend at least 2 hours a day doing.

1Passwd is one of those applications that is hard to wrap your head around at first because it is not your typical password manager. Once you see it in action it becomes pretty obvious, but until that time you might accidently dismiss it as something you don't need. We understood this from the beginning and crafted several videos to help, but we were video novices and it showed.
Because the movies are of such critical importance we decided to hire the best in the business to design some new ones. Don McAllister from ScreenCastsOnline is without question one of the best in the business, and we were lucky enough to have him work with us to design a kick butt new video!

It was great to see 1Passwd picked by the Version Tracker Editor earlier today:
Apparently the Editor had never approved an application so quickly. Usually they require extra testing and/or a few new updates to see improvement. I guess the Editor was already using 1Passwd :)

In addition to doing support for 1Passwd, I still have a day job working for the "man" in the corporate world. They comprise two separate set of experiences and I often have to stop and reflect how different they are. Tonight, I got an e-mail from one of 1Passwd users who was new to the Mac world. He commented how friendly and helpful the Mac community is and what a difference there are between the two. As someone who made the switch in 2005, I can definitely relate to the feeling. The corporate world definitely represents the PC just like the new Apple ads reveal. (http://www.apple.com/getamac/)
The Mac community represents everything that is not corporate such as creativity, non-conformity, and striving to reach your best. It is great to be part of such a great community and I thank you all for making it so great. Finally, thanks to all the great 1Passwd customers who offer their heartfelt thoughts and ideas to us on a daily basis. You make a difference in people's life that a corporation could never do.

Please note that this information is outdated and not applicable to the latest version of 1Password application.

Now that the new license cards are mandatory we've a had a flood of people contact us for the new cards. Often people can't remember what email they registered with, and who can blame them? I personally have 7 email accounts, and that is just the ones I can remember! :)
So, what to do if you need to find out which email address you used to register 1Passwd several months ago? If you are a GMail user you can search for 1Passwd and find it pretty quick, but there is another way.
