This new release adds support for the Leopard Developer Preview of OS X and improves overall system security and stability. This upgrade is free to all 1Passwd customers.
This release is packed full of "Blood and Tears" as supporting Leopard was incredibly hard. Now with that behind us we can get back to work on version 2.5! Yes, the much anticipated Wallet features and other cool features really are coming soon. As long as Apple doesn't release yet another beta in the next few weeks, we should be fine :)
How to Upgrade
The upgrade process is quite straight forward if you use the built-in update mechanism. Simply select “Check For Upgrades” from the main 1Passwd menu. You can find full instructions (with pictures!) in the 1Passwd Upgrade Guide.
Leopard Support
Previous versions of 1Passwd were based on SIMBL - special set of plugins extending the functionality of all Mac OS X applications. While providing a powerful functionality, SIMBL can reduce system security and stability and it will not be supported in future versions of Mac OS X. By making changes in its browser extension technology, Agile Web Solutions improved overall system security and made 1Passwd compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
Support for Latest Browser Versions
1Passwd gives its users unparalleled freedom of choice when it comes to web browsers. Agile Web Solutions is constantly updating 1Passwd to support all the latest versions of browsers, including beta and pre-release versons. This release adds support of Safari 3.0.2, Flock 0.9 and OmniWeb 5.6.
