from the mind of Dan Peterson, lead Agile designer.

Me, myself and I
Wow, my first Switchers' Blog post! As some of you probably already know I'm the lead designer for Agile Web Solutions. So far I've pretty much been working behind the scenes for AWS trying to improve on the visual aspects of all things Agile. Today I'd like to share a little something with all of you and I'd love to hear some feedback from the people I'm really doing all this work for.
The Mockup
All of our websites are in the process of being redesigned and completely overhauled. I've been working on mockups for a while now to get the look and feel we want to represent us on this crazy internet. You may have noticed a huge change already on agilewebsolutions.com and with the new navbar you see at the top of this page. These are just the beginning and have been more of a "testing of the waters" than anything else.
Dave and Roustem have asked me to create something clean, visually interesting, organized, "sexy", original, easy to read, and that represents what we stand for. That's a whole lot of adjectives to fit in one design! It's been tough but after a ton of back and forth and numerous mockups I think we've finally found what we're looking for.
Well there you go, now it's your turn to let me know what you think!
Looking Forward
At this point all I have is an approved mockup and the "go ahead" from the guys. This in and of itself is a huge step forward but obviously I have a whole lot left to go. Each Agile Web Solutions related site will be over-hauled with a similar style, that's five or six different websites depending on how you count (AWS, 1Password, AllBookmarks, the Switchers' Blog, the forums, and the upcoming my1Password)!!!
Not only will each site get a new look but I've been left in charge of everything from re-organizing the entire structure of each and in many cases thinking up my own content and trying to read all of your minds to figure out what you need and want from us. Please feel free to share any ideas you may have about any of this and don't hesitate with constructive criticism. I may not agree but I will be taking the time to read and consider any and all (realistic) possibilities. Thanks in advance!
