I'm a little behind the times blogging this, but it is better late than never! Things have been crazy around here and unfortunately blogging had to take a back seat. With that out of the way, here we go:
1Password 2.6.2 is now available! Version 2.6 was released a few weeks ago, and now with the 2.6.2 release we have managed to pack almost 100 changes into 1Password since the last 2.5 release!
Below are the highlights of the new release, and at the very bottom you can find the detailed Release Notes.
As always, you can grab the latest version from the downloads page, but the fastest and smoothest way to upgrade is to use the built in updater. Simply select 1Password > Check for Updates... and follow the instructions.
Overview of 2.6 Release
The 2.6 release represented a major upgrade to 1Password. Over 60 changes, improvements and new features were pack into that version! Despite the size, the 2.6.x versions are a free upgrade to all paid 1Password users. Holders of Mac Gem promotional licenses will need to purchase a new license to use this version.
New Change Password Window
New in 2.6 is the ability to automatically detect password change web pages and prompt you to update the existing login:

Enhanced AntiPhishing Protection
1Password has always protected you from phishing attacks by always checking the website address matches exactly, and will never let you fill the username and password on a phishing website.
In 2.6, we added Enhanced AntiPhishing Protection that can be enabled from the Preferences:

When enabled, every site that you visit will be verified using the Phishtank online service to determine if it is a known Phishing website. When loading a known Phishing website, 1Password will warn you as follows:

Improved Browser Support
2.6 adds support for OmniWeb 5.7, the latest Camino nightly builds, improved Firefox 3 support, as well as new support for the Fluid Site-Specific Browser.
You can learn more about the Fluid web browser and the new 1Password support in this blog post.
Password Generator Improvements
The Password Generator has been extended to include more password generation methods, including pronounceable and hash-based passwords. Here is what it looks like in the 2.6.3 Beta version of 1Password:

You can find full details of the features in the User Guide here.
Save/Restore Form Improvements
Not all improvements were visual. Beneath the covers, major improves have been made to the Save Form/Restore Form features in 1Password to make it work on a wider variety of websites. If you have a page when Restore Form does not work correctly, please try to use Save Form to replace an old entry.
Release Notes
You can see the full details on the every version on the release notes page. Since this announcement covers multiple versions, I won't repeat the details here.
