This update is not limited to Safari, however. In fact, this is the biggest release we have had for quite some time. The changelog has over 40 items in it! Below are the highlights of what we have been busy building over the the last 5 weeks, along with a full change log at the bottom.
Despite this huge list of enhancements, this update is a FREE update to all 1Password license holders.

1Password brings AutoFill support to Safari on iPhone and iPod touch!
Every iPhone and iPod touch user has cringed when they realized that Mobile Safari does not remember web site logins. Coupled with the fact Copy and Paste is nonexistent on the iPhone, users were forced to type their login information every time they wanted to access any password protected site.
The latest version of 1Password has the ability to sync to iPhone/iPod touch which will store all login information as a bookmarklet. When opened, this bookmarklet will allow automatic login into any website.

1Password version 2.5.8 was updated today to include support for the Firefox 3 beta! With over 27 months of development and almost two million lines of code changes made by the Mozilla team, we were really nervous about how much effort would be required to support this new version of Firefox. The 1Password extension is a lot more complex than most extensions and so we were anticipating a lot of pain, but we were pleasantly surprised.

Since before the iPhone was released, passionate 1Password users have been begging us to support it. As Canadians we couldn't even get one, so Roustem and I travelled to Chicago to purchase a few for development.
After several grueling weeks, we are proud to announce that 1Password 2.5 sports a new icon on its toolbar!

Sync to iPhone will export all your 1Password data to an encrypted Safari Bookmarklet, which can then be used on the iPhone (or iPod Touch) to access all your information. Of course everything is encrypted with some seriously strong cryptography, namely 448-bit Blowfish with Cipher Block Chaning (CBC) and randomized salt.
Without further ado, let's see how this works!
