1Password 2.6.5 is now available! Changes in this version include improved support for Firefox 3 and newly added support for the Safari 4 Developer Preview, DEVONagent 2.3.1, OmniWeb Sneaky Peeks, and the Beta of Flock 2. Also in this release are several stability improvements. This update is free to all paid 1Password customers.
Below are the highlights of this new version, and at the very bottom you can find the detailed Release Notes.
As always, you can grab the latest version from the downloads page, but the fastest and smoothest way to upgrade is to use the built in updater. Simply select 1Password > Check for Updates... and follow the instructions.
Updated Browser Support
It seems it is the season for new browsers. Since just a few weeks ago we needed to update 1Password for 4 new browser versions!
This version includes improved support for Firefox 3 and adds support for the Safari 4 Developer Preview, DEVONagent 2.3.1, the latest OmniWeb Sneaky Peeks, as well as the Beta of Flock 2.
New Disk Image Design
A newly designed Disk Image is included in this release to help make it clearer on how to install 1Password as well as to increase the "wow" factor expected by us Mac users.
This was discussed in detail in the New 1Password DMG, Including Custom Applications Icon! post. Here is the new design:

I think it's pretty purdy :)
Stability Improvements
This release improves the overall stability of 1Password and the browser extensions. Most notably this release addresses the Camino crash on PPC systems and the crash when deleting newly created folders and contents. An exception that displayed when the 1Password keychain was locked on certain setups was also resolved.
Change in Localization Packaging
Starting in this release 1Password no longer includes any Localized resources. Specifically French, Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese have been removed in order to keep the download as small as possible.
In addition to the smaller download size, having localized versions of the main application without any non-English support systems in place has been tough. We will be working with Act2 to provide a Japanese localization along with Japanese support channels. We will be setting up similar arrangements for French and German and eventually other languages as well.
